Now in the U.S.A, every foreign students who has successfully graduated from a college or a University will be able to get the H-1B Work Visa and can be on work visa for Six years! Before the expiration of the six years, the foreign student would have secured his or her Green Card because it takes Three years for foreign worker with H-1B Work Visa to process the Green Card .While in Canada, a foreign student upon graduation from a University or a College in Canada and after six months of working will be able to receive the required permanent resident permit, all these can be done without the student needing to travel back to his or her home country !

Form I-20 (U.S.A. Admission letter) is a document which a prospective F-1 student visa seekers would need to secure from an accredited institution in the united States (Full time students,Graduate or an Undergraduate) ,while DS-2019 form is what a prospective Visitor"s , Exchange or Research student must secured from his or her host institution in the U.S in order to be able to enter on a J-1 student visa . F-1 Student visa holders are however 100% better than a J-1 student visa holders because of their long time benefits and ability to become a Green Card holders without the need to travel back to their country after graduation.

The prospect of studying in the United States ,Canada or any of their affiliated countries is an interesting and a lifetime turning point. Canada, a member of the Commonwealth, is the world's second largest country (after Russia) with a land mass of 9,093,507 square kilometers, almost as large as all of Europe but with a few population of over 33,000,000. Both Canada and The United States citizen"s literacy rate is 100% hence, Universities and Colleges in North America are ranked very high in the world !

Visa Interview at the U.S.A. Embassy world wide (Canada is now adopting a drop box policy in Nigeria) which normally lasts for three to five minutes is generally a Bully to many Nigerians and other foreign students.Mastering English proficiency is not a qualifier for a student visa because many English graduates has failed the visa interview in the past and Ironically, lots of foreign students who are obviously poor in English language have scaled through and have been able to enter the United States and Canada on a student visa,So a U.S.A /Canada visa interview officer will likely not refuse you a visa stamping if you keep stumbling over an English phrases. Your genuine intention, Confidence and Your Ties to your country are the main keys that usually open the student visa doors.

How does the United States visa officers even verify certificates within three to five minutes of your interview session ? Do they actually cross check anything at all? It will also interest you to know that the interview officers do not center Foreign students capability solely on how much you scored on GRE or TOEFL. This is why of recent, Few Universities and Colleges in the United States,Canada and their affiliated countries have decided to be admitting International students whose country is a member of The Commonwealth of Nations without the need to submit TOEFL,GRE,GMAT and SAT 1& 2.These particular institutions have erased asking foreign students Tuition deposit in order to woo more potential brains from abroad.

In this respect, the best way for any foreigners especially African students between the age of 18-35 years to enter North America and any of their affilliated countries is to enter as a student and on a student visa !! A small decision to give it a try has turned many African students to a success in the United States and Canada.

On a final note, since getting a genuine admission letter is not only the score, choosing an appropriate Universities and Colleges is also a major decision and the most important of all is that you must apply to an institution in North America according to your status! Application for January/May/September 2010 Admissions to the selected Universities and Colleges In the United states and Canada is still going on.
